The Mug Shot to the right, thats me...Vaughan Winiata and I have been given the 'big job' of adding a few words about our company. To keep things brief I have added a few questions and answers that hopefully you will find informative.

Who or what is Avalon Audio?

Avalon Audio is a privately owned company that distributes a World Class brand portfolio within the Audio Visual ('A/V') sector. Our products are sold into multiple industry sectors, the main sectors are Consumer Electronics Retail, Custom Integration and Professional Audio.

'World Class products" ...what does that really mean?

Our main brands are recognised as leaders in their respective categories holding numerous industry awards for innovation & performance, for example:- Onkyo; more than any other comparative audio visual brand it continues to set the benchmark in the evolution of the AV Receiver as the the hub of quality home entertainment systems. Integra; sister brand to Onkyo and the preferred AV Receiver brand of genuine and reputable Custom Integration companies. KEF; their loudspeakers continue to assert their position as the most innovative loudspeaker company in the world today. KOSS; not only are they Tony Bennetts favourite but still the preferred headphone of the discerning audio enthusiast. Celestion, well - what can I say...they don't call it the "Voice of Rock 'n' Roll for nothing, no other guitar driver brand comes close.

We take immense pride in these facts and furthermore are aware no other competing distribution business holds a comparably strong range of products.

Where is Avalon Audio based?

We operate from two locations in Auckland City, the first being a purpose brand showroom in Newmarket and the second a Warehousing & Distribution centre in Penrose.

Where can I view or buy Avalon Audio products?

Most of our direct customer relationships are with Companies who are Resellers as opposed to the Consumer or End User. These companies vary from leading nationwide retailers like JB HiFi and Noel Leeming to trade outlets like JA Russell and Radcliffes.

Is Avalon Audio 100% Kiwi owned and operated?

You bet!
