Surround Sound Speaker System

The centre channel of any surround sound speaker system is the most important because it carries by far the most information – especially dialogue and frontal effects. With the right technology, the greater width of modern flat screen TVs allows the left and right front speakers to be combined with the centre channel in a single speaker bar no wider than your screen. As well as complementing the styling of the TV, this of course also eliminates the need to run cables to separate front speakers.

Designed to fit unobtrusively above or below screens of 32in. and larger, the slender, gloss black aluminium enclosure of the KHT7005 combined speaker bar features the same high performance three-way driver array for each of the three front channels: KEF's gloriously natural-sounding 19mm tweeter, flanked by two 50mm bass drivers.

For perfect tonal balance, the same array is fitted to the compact rear satellites, which are easy to mount either horizontally or vertically on any wall or shelf, or on slim optional stands.

KEF's acclaimed KUBE-1 subwoofer, with a 200W Class-D amp driving a 200mm long-throw bass driver and matching passive radiator, completes the picture with assertive, full-bodied and superbly controlled bass extension that adds real drama to the viewing experience.

Whatever your personal listening preferences, KHT7005 is a supremely elegant solution that minimises visual clutter while creating a spacious, accurate and strikingly realistic 3D sound picture that fills all but the very largest rooms.
